Mexicoco!

I am in Mexico with my lovely family!  We chose to go to Tulum because we could fly there direct from San Francisco and Nana and Aunty Sian and everyone could fly direct from the UK.  We didn't know much about it so it was a bit of a risk, but I am glad that we took it.  What a beautiful place!  We have already booked to go back again next year!

Mummy found an amazing house on the internet - which looked a little good to be true.  Turned out to be both brilliant and true!!  It was right on the beach and had a lovely pool.

The beach was beautiful and almost deserted.

I loved building sand castles.

One of the best things about going on holiday with a big group is that you have lots of people to put to work on building sand structures for you - like this fab Gup B!

I must admit though, my favorite thing about building sand castles is stomping on them!!

I really loved exploring the beach with my Dad

Mummy thought the best thing about the beach was the Pina Colada that magically appeared in her hand every time she sat down!

I also loved the swimming pool!

With all the swimming practice I did, I was soon swimming like a fish!

One of my favorite rings to do was play fetch with Daf.

I also liked swimming in the ocean.  It was just like a bath!

Sometimes I liked to hitch a ride!

The bath was so big, I could even swim in that!!

There was so much to do

I loved surfing

And Kayaking

---

And river rafting.

---

There were also lots of amazing creatures to see - like turtles

And even Whale Sharks!  I felt like an Octonaut!

There were also fascinating ruins to see - but I wasn't such a fan of them.  It was too hot!!

One of the best things about Villa Vidorra was the lovely staff - Luis, Filippe and Chef Leo!  They made a lovely flan for Aunty Sian and Uncle Teeny's 25th wedding anniversary

And they made me Mickey Mouse pancakes every morning!

Some nights we went out to eat - sometimes just for dessert!

And sometimes just for drinks!  I am my father's son

There was even a great fish shack right on our beach.  If every restaurant was on a beach and had hammocks, I may just get to like them!

But the best thing was getting to spend time with my family

We had lots of nice chats

And of course, I always love being with my Mummy and Daddy

It wasn't all good though.  One day I ran into a glass door that I thought was open.  I split my head open and a doctor needed to come to the house and give me stitches.  He said I was the most co-operative and brave 5 year old he had ever treated!  

At least it earned me some IPad time.  Everything has a silver lining.

Another wonderful vacation with my family.  I am such a lucky boy and I am already looking forward to next year!!
