Can you believe it is the last day of the year already? Where does all the time go
That the question mummy and her school friends were asking when they met up for coffee today. They said it seems like yesterday that they were my age and just meeting for the first time. Then we went out to dinner to welcome in the new year with my family. It was great fun. We did charades - when no one else in the place is doing charades, you look a little strange but that didn't seem to bother my family. Then we all piled out into the town square to watch the fireworks! Happy New Year everyone!

We had great fun today at Heatherton adventure park. You can do all sorts of things there - like walking on water in giant balls. Some of us ( me) had an easier time than others ( Daddy). I also got to try archery for the first time and shooting ( which Mummy was not as sure about). And there is a race track. AND there is a great soft play area and arcade - which was nice and warm after coming in from the very chilly outside.
We had a really lovely time tonight watching Becca and Duncan's band play. I really loved their music. I also really loved the food and ate a whole adult size lasagne!
The only bad part about seeing your family at Christmas is when you have to say goodbye to them. Uncle Ga, Aunty Kate, Sam and Benj are going on holiday somewhere sunny so had to leave today. I am sad to see them go but cheered myself up by making the cool Maglev train that they gave me.
I wonder how much taller Sam will be next time I see him? Nana may need to get higher ceilings. On Boxing Day pretty much the whole town of Tenby goes for a swim - which does not seem like a very good idea to me. We didn't get up in time to go swimming - or even to watch other people go swimming! We did go for a Boxing Day walk on the beach though with Mummy's childhood friends Becca and Duncan their dog Peggy. Peggy went for a swim so I think that counts as watching the Boxing Day swim.
Then we came home and Benj and Mummy played the violin for us. Benj is really good.
What a brilliant Christmas Day!
I woke to find a sack full of toys on the bottom of my bed! I will never understand how Santa manages to do that. I had everything I asked for in there too which means I must have been on the good list! Santa must have a very good memory - except he forgot to tell Mummy, or Aunty Sian or Cousin Milly that he already got me a Scooby Doo book - because they all got me exactly the same one! Now I have 4! I also got 2 Dr Who sonic screwdrivers - both from him! May be he knows that I tend to break stuff so got me a spare just in case. Then there were more presents! Then we then had a lovely Christmas dinner where we set fire to a cake for some reason that no one can explain to me. Then we tried to play Christmas tunes on our whistles - which didn't go well. Aunty Sian is a music teacher so I expected she would be a bit better at conducting. I guess it must be harder than it looks. Then I taught everyone a bit of break dancing - which is also harder than it looks. Merry Christmas everyone and thank you for all my lovely presents! I am a very lucky boy! It is wet, cold and windy - but I feel all warm and cozy because I am back with my family at Nana's house for Christmas!
We had a lovely walk on the beach and a play in the sand dunes ( which seem to get smaller every year - may be it is just that I am getting bigger?). Then we had a lovely family dinner, questioned why Hannah had made devil cakes that didn't seem very festive, and then put milk cookies and carrots out for Santa and his reindeers before trying really hard to go to sleep. On our way down to Tenby we stopped off in Port Talbot because Daddy heard that Banksy had created a work of art on some random guys garage. Imagine waking up in the morning and there was suddenly a priceless piece of art on your garage? What do you do? In this case the man set up his caravan to serve tea to the people queuing up to take photos of it. Only in Wales.
I think my Dad might be Banksy. How else would he know it was there?? Every year Aunty Jenn and Uncle John host a get together for Daddy's side of the family. It is lovely to see everybody - and especially to play with their lovely doggie Meli who sends me great letters. She is a very clever doggie.
There is literally no where that I cannot floss.
