We had a lovely dinner at home in Common Hay for New Years Eve. Newman and Trevena came over and I got all dressed up in my new posh clothes!

Nana has a Santa that dances and sings Jingle Bells! I love it! I turned him on and danced along with him - over and over and over again!
There is this really cool place in Tenby called Ocean Commotion. It used to be a chapel and now it is three stories high of fun! It has big twisty turny slides and loads of ball pits to jump in. I wanted to go down the biggest slides - so I ignored the signs that said over 6 years old and threw myself down the long dark tunnels without a care. It was brilliant fun. It was even more fun because I was there with my cousins Sam and Benj. It is Christmas Day - and it is snowing! We very rarely have snow in Tenby, so this is very unusual! Common Hay looks even prettier in the snow! Even more amazing than snow, was this sack of toys that I found at the end of my cot this morning! I have no idea how it got there and I am a little worried that whoever left it may come and ask for it back. Downstairs there were even more presents from all my lovely family. It was chaos! I didn’t know what to play with first! Then we all sat down for a lovely Christmas dinner I loved the cracker - it was almost as noisy as me! It was a lovely day. We all missed Tada terribly and we thought about him and talked about him all day. I hope he could see us all together and see how much love there was today - that is truly the greatest gift of all.
We have come up the mountain to Lake Tahoe for a ski weekend with Uncle Mick and Aunty Deb. I have seen snow before, but Lola hasn’t. She went bonkers! She jumped out of the car and immediately disappeared into the deep snow and then ran around and around in circles like a crazy lunatic! It snowed heavily the night we arrived, so the next morning we had to dig the cars out of the driveway so that Daddy, Uncle Mick and aunty Deb could go skiing. I helped! After about an hour, we could move the cars and they were off up the mountain to ski. Then after a hard day of sliding down the mountain ( although I am not sure how hard that can be!) it was back to our cozy cabin for dinner and a snuggle by the fire. Its amazing that we have this winter wonderland so close to our house. Lola and I are going to ask Mum and Dad if we can come up here every year! |
