I am lucky to have really good friends since kindergarten. They all came out to celebrate my birthday with me today with an escape room followed by dinner at Benihana. It was great fun - dinner and a show all in one.

 Today is a heartbreaking day. My lovely Nanny, Mary Beth passed away. She had a heart transplant last October and was a real fighter for over a year. I had just been to see her on Monday and we had a lovely chat, laugh and hugs. I am glad that neither of us knew that would be the last time she would make me giggle with her naughty Nanny antics.
Although it is very very sad, in some ways it makes sense that I should hear this news on Thanksgiving morning. It is a reminder to be thankful for every day, to be thank full for loving family - birth family and found family including the best naughty Nanny ever. We will miss you MB xx I cannot believe that I am 16! Where did the time go? I am very very into music so I was thrilled to add a new guitar for my collection ( you can never have enough guitars in my opinion). I also love collecting vinyl ( just like Dad) and CDs and I am now into collecting Funko Pops. I even got a custom Funko Pop of myself! The best present is that Uncle Mick, Aunty Deb and Ellie arrived in town to celebrate with me. Mum thought it would be a good idea to in their jet lagged state to take them to a play. Instead of going to the broadway hit musical that is literally about someone turning 16, we went to see "Not A Christmas Carol" which was Not Very Good At All!. We only made it to the intermission and then went out to a lovely dinner at the place they filmed the Maltese Falcon.
Annie is mad as a brush - but she is very cute, especially when she has just been groomed. Even though she pees all over the groomer every time he picks her up, she loves posing for photographs when its all over and she knows she looks pretty.
 We bought a lovely new house - so of course we have to tear it apart?!
    Went on a school trip to Coit Tower today. We took the ferry from Larkspur. This time Dad dropped me off at the right ferry building.
 I went to bed with hope that Kamala Harris would become the first female president of the USA. I woke up to something I just don't understand - how could more than half of the country vote for Donald Trump again after all that he did to try and overthrow the peaceful transfer of power when he lost the last time? I was so upset when I heard and told Mum that I was worried he was going to take away all of her rights and the rights of all women.
