Our neighbors are fostering a very cute husky pup called Elvis. Annie and Elvis have been hearing each other either side of the fence and desperate to play. So Annie very helpfully solved the problem by digging a hole on our side so that Elvis could stick his head through.

I’m 14! Uncle Mick and Aunty Deb and Ellie came out to see me as usual to celebrate. I can’t believe they have flown from London pretty much every year since I have been born - I’m a lucky guy. We went to an escape room with Michael and Aiden, then to play indoor mini golf and lunch in the the city before Mick, Deb and Ellie had to hop back on the plane. Fun birthday!
Lola’s had many happy places but perhaps her favorite ( other than the red couch in our front room) was Rodeo Beach. Today we took Annie to check it out with Uncle Mick, Aunty Deb and Ellie. It was a beautiful day and Annie loved chasing Leia around on the sand
    We ended up hosting Thanksgiving last minute this year as the DiComos had a flood at their house. We made it work with a long table in the living room. The Dicomos, The Latimers and two sets of Brennans had a lot of fun. We played Heads-up to lots of screeching hilarity and the screeching continued as we moved on to the piano to sing Christmas Carols and Disney songs. Happy Thanksgiving!

Mum has a cool job. They have a speaker series at work and have all sorts of people come and talk to the employees. It could be actors, directors, writers, astronauts, sports stars. Tonight it was Taylor Swift. Mum met with Taylor before the talk and said she was really nice and very curious about what they do at Lucasfilm and ILM. Dad is a major Swiftie and was not happy that he wasn’t invited.
I have moved up a grade in music. My teacher says I would be moving up much quicker if I actually practiced the music I was supposed to practice but she said “I don’t mind so much as I don’t want to squash his enthusiasm and love of music - you can tell he has music pouring out of his head!”
Annie hasn’t quite figured out how to poop without sitting in it. So she has to have a bath quite often. She is not a fan
