 Family visits always go so fast! At least we will see each other soon in London.

                           And just like that, I am 9!
I had a fantastic day! It started with a room full of presents from my lovely family then we went to the Exploratorium in San Francisco which was brilliant - there are all sorts of experiments and things to do. Then we went to my favorite restaurant ( The Left Bank) with my family and my friend Aiden. Zaney had a good day too because he LOVES wrapping paper and boxes. He doesn't love the arrival of Monkey the Elf who always turns up on my birthday and always takes one of Zane's favorite perches. I hope Monkey doesn't tell Santa to put Zane on the naughty list!                 Today we went to Napa to do some wine ( or apple juice, in my case) tasting. We went to Sterling Vineyards which has a cool cable car that takes you to the top of the hill. Mummy is not a fan of heights, so I held her hand. Tuesdee liked it even less.
        Today we went on a family hike in the woods, followed by a play in the playground. Uncle Mick is always especially fun to play with - he is more of a kid than I am!
 Mummy always puts the Christmas tree up on the day after Thanksgiving because she is bonkers. She also always tortures our pets with Christmas outfits. Today Leia was inducted into the Brennan family hall of Christmas Cuteness.
  Happy Thanksgiving! We went to the DiComo's to celebrate with their family and with the Kavanaghs. It was great fun playing with all of their toys and watching a movie. I ate my usual festive Mac and Cheese. I am very thankful for my lovely family and friends. And for Mac and Cheese.
Well, 'top of Marin' at least. Uncle Mick, Aunty Deb, Ellie and Tuesdee have come to visit! We went on a hike up the top of Mount Tam. We could see for ever! Leia threw up all over Uncle Mick on the way up, but other than that, it was a lovely day!
          Can you believe that I am nearly 9 years old?!
Today was my birthday party. About 25 friends came to bounce with me at The House of Air. It was brilliant fun! We had pizza ( which I ate) and a brilliant Doctor Who cake ( which I didn't eat)! What a great way to spend your 8 years and 51 weeks anniversary!                      We had a brilliant weekend away with my California Cousins - Ruby, Lily, Charlie and Sam.
We rented a house in Guernville and went stone skipping in the river, visited a gorgeous beach ( and got told off by the lifeguard - but don't tell Mummy) and an incredible forest with some giant trees that have been there longer than the USA! And I was the only one to go in the pool - which I had to admit was pretty cold! What a great way to spend a weekend! |
