And the birthday celebrations continue! Today we went to the Making of Harry Potter at Leavesden Studios. Luckily Aunty Sian and Uncle Teeny gave me a Harry Potter outfit for my birthday so I really looked the part. I couldn't believe that I got see the real Hogwarts great hall, the real Gryffyndor Common Room, the real Hogwarts Express and so much more! I even got to see Daddy's wand in the wand shop! Every crew member on the film has their own wand and I was very excited to see Daddy's! What a brilliant way to end an incredible birthday weekend!
It's my birthday! I am 8 and in all that time, this is the first time I have been able to celebrate my birthday with all of my family! And what a birthday it was!
When I woke up in the morning our hotel room had been decorated with Happy Birthday banners and there were presents at the foot of my bed! I have no idea how they got there because they were not there when I went to bed! Then we had brunch with my Mummy's family and more presents! Then it was off to the theater to see Aladdin which I have been wanting to see ever since I heard that there was an Aladdin theater show. It was so brilliant to see it with my lovely family. There were 25 of us at the theater and afterwards we even got to meet the cast! Aladdin and Jasmin and the Genie came out to say hello and so did scary Jafar! Then the nice lady who manages the theater took us up on stage to show us how the magic happens. We saw the sets, the magic swords and cakes, and the costumes. But no matter how hard I rubbed, I still couldn't get the Genie to come out of the lamp! Then it was back to the Corinthia for dinner with all my family. Everyone in my Mummy's family came all the way up from Wales ( except for Uncle Ga who had to be in Dubai) and all my Daddy's brothers and my Aunties were there and my Mummy's best friend Cate and her family were there too. And the best part of a brilliant day was blowing out the candles on the R2D2 cake that my cousin Hannah made! I am such a lucky boy to have so much love in my life and I cannot wait to see what adventures are to come as an 8 year old! Today was a very exciting day. We got to go to the Queen's House because Mummy was being made a Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire! We all had to dress up and I chose a blue velvet suit and a bow tie. It was very cool inside Buckingham Palace and I especially liked the Horse Guards and Beefeaters! They had very cool uniforms - even cooler than police officers so I think I might want to be a Beefeater when I grow up.
I liked the first 10 minutes of the ceremony when Prince Charles gave Mummy her medal. Sitting still for the following 2 hours watching lots of people I don't know get their medals was not as much fun however! I was very quiet though because Mummy said I would never see an iPad again if I didn't! She seems to have become even more bossy since she became a commander! We had a fun day out with Uncle Mick today. We went on a tube train and we went to the science museum. It was very cool
Today was a very fun day. Mummy was working but I got to go to a brilliant park with Daddy and Nana. There was all sorts of things to explore including a pirate ship! I even got to meet a little squirrel friend. Then we took Nana to our favourite coffee shop in London and in the evening we went out to dinner with 3 of my uncles!
One of the best things about being in London is that I got to be with my cousin Sam to celebrate his birthday! I even got to ride on a train to go to their house! I had a brilliant time playing with Sam and Benj - their house even has a swimming pool! Then Uncle Ga made a lovely birthday dinner (with my favourite Mac and Cheese!) and we all got to sing Happy Birthday. What a fun day! Happy Birthday big cousin!
We are back in London again! We had a great day exploring today. One of my favourite things about London is that you never know what you are going to see around each corner. It could be a cool statue, or a person pretending to be a statue or even Staypuffed Marshmallow man and the Ecto 1!
We alsowent to visit the new Lego store in Leicester Square - which is the biggest Lego store in the world! It had some really cool models that must have taken forever to build! What a cool job that must be! Then we went to the Star Wars Identities exhibit to find out what our Star Wars character would be. I am a rebel pilot! Then best of all, when we got back to the Corinthia Hotel, Nana was there!! No wonder I was tired after such a busy day! Today is the Day of the Dead where we celebrate our loved ones who are no longer with us. At school we decorated an altar and I put in photos of my Tada, Nannie, Grandie and Jess and Tutu. I miss them all so much and I hope they know how much I love them.
