It's that time of year again to trim the tree and sing carols! I love decorating the tree with Mum and Dad as all of our decorations are collected from our travels around the world and bring back great memories.
We have a lot of labradors ornaments too - but none as pretty as our little Santa's helper.

We went to the zoo today as a birthday weekend treat! It was great fun. My favorite was the lions and the penguins. But the best part was the playground - and being with my Mum and Dad all day!
Today is Thanksgiving and we celebrated at our house with the Dicomo's. We had a big lunch with Turkey and all the trimmings - including Mac and Cheese, so I was happy.
We did all sorts of Thanksgiving crafts including creating Native American head-dresses. Then I got to watch Big Hero 6 on the TV with my buddy Sam. There's such a lot to be thankful for! Today is my 6th Birthday! I can't believe how fast time has flown and all that I have learned in 6 years.
I can read, write, do math and draw pretty well. I am getting better at swimming and riding my bike and my scooter. I talk all the time and Mummy says I am the best negotiator that she has ever met! This year I am looking forward to learning how to play a musical instrument and to learning how to play soccer and baseball. I am also enrolling in hip hop dance lessons, which I am very excited about! The day started with the wonderful surprise of a turtle decorated living room with a big pile of presents from my lovely family! I loved opening all the cards and reading each and every one of them. I think people must have realized that I am very into Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles at the moment because I had turtle dolls ( that actually talk to each other!) turtle playsets, a turtle bike helmet, a turtle scooter, a turtle mask, turtle playdoh and even turtle socks! Aunty Sian knows that I am still very into Octonauts too and she sent me some great books including a great pop up octopod book! And Aunty Kate and Ga know how much I like diving now and sent me some cool diving clams. Mary Beth came over in the afternoon with a super cool skate board. She promises to teach me how to ride it - which will be brilliant fun! One of my favorite things to do on my birthday is look back over this blog and see all the things that I have done in my life since I was a little baby. I am a very lucky and happy little boy and I love all my family. xxx Today was my 6th Birthday Party! I asked Mummy if I could invite all my friends to my house with a bouncy castle and a ninja turtle. She said I could have 3 of those things so we had the party at the Discovery Museum. My new friends from the Pelican room were there as well as my friends from the Dolphin room. It was so great to see them again!
We all had great fun bouncing like crazy and playing with chalk and bubbles. The it was time for a special guest. We all sat down quietly and waited, excited to see who would come. I said " I hope it's Darth Vader!" My Mum was very confused because apparently it would have been a lot easier to get Darth Vader as Mum and Dad work with him. I had forgotten that I had asked for a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle, so I was very happy when Leonardo came out and played games with us. I gave him a high five and a hug. Then I realized something and said to him " I think you are just a dude in a suit!" I still thought he was fun though. I even had a Turtle cake. I liked the candle! And I got my face painted with a turtle mask. The whole day was brilliant fun. I am such a lucky boy to have so many great friends. Thank you all for coming and celebrating my special day! Tutu gets a little chilly in the winter so she likes to wear cozy sweaters. Doesn't she look cute! Lola wasn't so keen on the idea
