Today we went to visit a man called Santa. He is amazing. On Christmas Eve he travels all around the world and gives presents to all the little girls and boys. When I was waiting in line, I wasn’t so sure this was a good idea. But as soon as I got into his house, I wasn’t nervous at all and walked straight up to him I had no problem climbing up on his lap as he seemed like a very nice man And then Mummy and Daddy came too! Lola had a visit to Santa too! Although I think he may be a cousin of the real Santa. Lola and I are both ready for Christmas now! Today is my birthday! It was extra special because Uncle Mick and Aunty Deb were here to celebrate with me. Imagine my surprise when I woke up in the morning and the house had been transformed! I could see balloons, and a new play table with a train set, a brilliant art easel! There was even a Tom-sized car! Then I opened even more presents! It was brilliant! And at the end of a very exciting day there was even more excitement when Mummy brought out my birthday cake with lots of candles. I didn’t realise that you are supposed to blow them out so I tried to put them out with my hand - Mummy stopped me just in time! Today is Thanksgiving Day! We cooked a big turkey and lots of friends and family came over to eat it. There were big people for Mummy and Daddy to play with - Uncle Mick, Aunty Deb, Uncle Warren, Aunty Joy, Uncle Paul and Aunty Meena. And there were littler people for me to play with - Lucy, Piper, Ruby, Lily and of course Lola. Tomorrow is my birthday so we also had a little celebration for me with cake and presents! I am very thankful that I am such a loved little boy! My Aunty Tricia has come for a quick visit. I love Aunty Trish - she is really fun to play with and she is really good at reading stories. Lola loves her too because she takes us for walks. Mummy put my coat on back to front which not fair because now I can’t take it off and that is one of my favourite things to do at the moment! That Mummy of mine is quite sneaky sometimes! I love wearing Daddy’s clothes. I can’t wait until I am all grown up and a big boy, just like him.
Mummy says that she wants me to take my time and not grow up too fast! |
