This years Halloween was different than I am used to. In Baltimore Ave we were always mobbed by trick or treaters and had lots of trick or treating opportunities in the neighborhood. In Hawthorne Ave we did not get even one Trick or Treater so Mum was forced to eat all the candy herself! We still had fun though and my friends Nick, Gerry and Jens came over with their folks AND Uncle Ga, Aunty Kate, Sam and Benj were here too! It was a very fun night - even the weird game that Mum made us play involving winking. I still don't quite get what we were doing but Dad was very good at it.

Our little princess Elsie is three! Suddenly she isn't a baby anymore and is a gorgeous little girl. Hannah and Luke are very kind as they are getting her a baby sister for her birthday!
Hannah and Luke have another daughter and Elsie and Noah are big sister and bigger brother! Welcome to the world Isabelle Ann! We can't wait to meet you and can already tell you are going to be a cool, chill kid. Namaste.
I am so happy this week to have my big cousins and my Uncle and Aunty come to stay. Mum had them on an action packed agenda including Lucasfilm, Skywalker Sound, Muir Woods and Napa valley. Dad's agenda for them involved playing pool at the Silver Peso.
Mum is in LA for work which is excellent timing as Uncle Ga, Aunty Kate, Sam and Benj just flew in to LA too so she got to show them around the Disney lot. Uncle Ga was also her plus one at the Premier of Music by John Williams. He was asked to sign autographs and take selfies with fans - though we are not quite sure who he
Today is an incredibly sad day. My honorary Uncle Warren has passed away. He had been diagnosed with ALS which is a very cruel disease that attacks the nervous system. I had not known that he was ill for long so this was quite a shock. Of all Mum and Dad’s friends Warren was the most adventurous. He was also the coolest - he had a really cool style and he was an absolutely amazing guitarist. I really looked up to him and just hope I can be a tiny bit like him one day. It seems unreal and very very unfair that he has gone and that Aunty Joy has lost her husband and the Lucy and Piper have lost their Dad. I can’t imagine the pain they are going through. Another reminder to take no day for granted. Rest in coolness Uncle Wazza.
The views from our new house and from the path behind it are pretty amazing - especially when there's a rainbow.
Its my buddy Jens' birthday so we went to hang out at Bocce pizza. Always fun to catch up with the bros. I took some cool photos through the giant bubbles.
My Dad's cousin Pat and his wife Gil who live in New Zealand came to visit us as part of their round the world extravaganza. I met them before when I was little and still in a push-chair. There were times on the long hikes that Mum made us go on in the record breaking heat that I could have done with that push-chair.
