 It is Halloween and Mummy, Daddy, Lola and I all dressed up as Pirates! Aaargh Me Hearties!  I loved my outfit and actually kept it on all night - which is more than can be said for Lola! Halloween is not Lola’s favourite night of the year for so many reasons. I also loved going trick or treating with my friends! It was lots of fun collecting the candy but I wasn’t too interested in eating it.  My favourite part of the night was hanging out on our porch and handing out candy to all the people wearing costumes. I didn’t like the skeleton costumes - they were “Owie” but I loved all the other ones. Most of all I loved playing with my Californian cousins!

 After the imagination parade at school today we did face painting. I don’t know what they used but we had a hard time getting it off. Don’t I look funny with black eyebrows!  
 Today we had our Imagination Day Parade in daycare. The TeddyBear class were ‘Suns’  We made our hats by tracing our hands on yellow paper and making them into Sun ray hats. I did not like my hat so I gave it to Daddy as soon as I saw him. He didn’t seem to mind wearing it. Perhaps he is a better listener than me?  After the parade we all got to go and play in the playground - even Mummy and Daddy!
 It is almost Halloween so we went to the pumpkin patch today to choose our pumpkins. It took me a while to find my perfect pumpkin  As soon as I made my pick, it was off to the bouncy castle which was brilliant fun!  I think Daddy wishes he could have come in there too.
I love Lola and she loves me. When we are in the car, she likes to rest her head on my chair and I like to tickle her under her chin. She is such a good girl.
 Today we went to see Disney on Ice!
I thought it was brilliant and Daddy thought it wasn’t quite as painful as he thought it was going to be. 
 This weekend the whole family went to a lovely hotel in Napa called Calistoga Ranch.  It was a beautiful weekend and we went for lots of hikes in the woods   It was so peaceful that I fell asleep!  Then it was back to our room for a relax in the hot- tub. Lola wanted to come in too but she wasn’t allowed - much to her frustration.    I also loved the pool and I am getting really good at swimming. With my armbands on, I can ‘run’ from one end to the other!  Mummy and Daddy said that even though it wasn’t exactly like the romantic weekends they used to have, they wouldn’t change it for the world. I can’t imagine what could possibly be better?!
