 It’s my first Halloween! Our neigbourhood goes crazy at Halloween. All the houses on the block are decorated and tons and tons of children come Trick or Treating. Mummy and Daddy and I spent the evening on our front porch so that we could join in all the fun.  There were fairies and witches and dragons and lions and scarecrows and princesses and Dorothies and Pebbbles and skeletons and Stormtroopers and Harry Potters and even a big bar of Toblerone!  Everybody had a great time - apart from Princess Lola, who had to stay inside because she was frightened of all the costumes! She was very happy when it all quietened down and we all came inside and she could get a cuddle from Mummy and me.

 Today we had an Imagination Parade at Daycare. All the classes had different costumes to wear. My class were all dressed as cats!
I was not impressed with my hat, so I decided to eat it.

I am 11 months old today! I can’t believe I am nearly a whole year old! It’s been another busy month. I have really perfected crawling and climbing and I am very keen on the idea of walking but I haven’t got the hang of it yet. I have started swimming lessons and I am really enjoying it - I can go under water and I can splash and kick really well. I even went down the slide! 
 We went to the ILM Halloween party tonight. It was great fun! Some of the costumes were incredible - there was a Sushi Family, an UP family, a huge transformers robot made out of furniture and a band called Spinal Tap. I went as Yoda and Mummy was Princess Leia and Daddy was Han Solo. I went up on stage and got a big cheer from the crowd - I liked that!  Aunty Mo, Uncle Michael and Charlie were also there - dressed as Cowboys!  I was a very tired Yoda by the end of the night.
Tonight we went to dinner at our neighbours, and my honorable Aunties, Myrna and Sheila’s house.
We had a lovely time and they gave me a wonderful present! My very own rocking horse called Ned! He is black and white and furry and when you tickle his ear he neighs and wags his tail! He doesn’t even mind it when I grab his tail and give it a good pull! ( Lola doesn’t seem to like it so much when I do it to her). I am such a lucky boy and I love my new friend very much! 
Today I had my first guitar lesson with Daddy. I think I am quite good. I liked the way the strings tickled when I played them and I liked that the guitar can also be a drum.
 Today I had my first swimming class with Daddy. It was great fun! I wasn’t sure about it at first.....  .... but as soon as I got in to the water, I was quite happy!  We started with a sing-along in a circle - and I especially liked the part when Daddy dunked my head under the water!  Then I had to swim under a tunnel to my teacher - I liked playing peek-a-boo around the corner to her!  Then we all had to sit on the side of the pool and jump in! I look a little worried but I knew I was quite safe because Daddy was there to catch me!  Then we got to play with toys on a raft. Mummy said she knew I could crawl on water!  Then we played ring a ring a roses - and we all fell in!
