Today was a very hot day so we went to the beach.
Lola loves the beach and so do I. We both run in to chase the ball and we both like digging in the sand. Lola met a very long dog with very short legs who kept trying to jump on top of her. I am not sure why. I met my friend Bella, who I haven't seen since Miss Colette's pre-school class. When we were in class Bella was very sick and had to have an oxygen tube. I was so happy to see that she doesn't need the tube anymore and her Mum said that Bella is going to recover completely. That made me very happy.

Today was brilliant fun! I had a playdate with one of my best buddies from daycare - Xavi! I haven't seen him in ages and we had lots to catch up on. I even got to meet Xavi's new baby brother Xander. So cute! Mummy said it made her broody. I have no idea what that means but I am sure it's nothing to worry about.
My swimming teacher, Calvin is great fun. He has been teaching me spinjitsu diving. I am really good at it. He says he has never met a 6 year old as fearless as me!
Today is a very sad day.
We are always sad on September 17th because it is the day that Tada went to heaven. We always feel his presence even closer than normal on this day and feel that he is watching over us to make sure we are alright. Today I think Tada had a very special job to do. He came to help Jessie get to doggie heaven. She died peacefully with Nana and Uncle Teeny stroking her. And now I am sure she is playing ball somewhere with her beloved Alpha Dog Rest in peace Jessie. Thank you for taking care of her Tada. We love you and miss you so much.xxx Lola and Tallulah are best friends. There's nothing they like better than having a lie out in the sun together and a good chat
Today is Force Friday - in celebration of the new Star Wars film that Mummy and Daddy are working on. I got a new lightsaber to add to my collection!
Stephen Colbert says it is a Menage a Sabre. I have no idea what that means but Mummy thinks it is very funny. Can you believe that I am in First Grade already?! Mummy can't.
At Marin Montessori, the classes are mixed grade so I am going back to the same class, same teacher and most of the same friends. This time I will be one of the oldest in the class so I am looking forward to teaching the new kids the ropes. |
