Today I went for a hike in the wood by our house with Lola, Mummy, Daddy and their friend Mark who came all the way from Singapore. It is great to explore in the woods. All sorts of things to look at and get covered in.

I am learning to use the potty. It isn’t going well. It turns out that you are not supposed to put the potty on your head. I wish someone had told me that before I got it stuck! I had to go to the firestation for them to cut it off with a big tool. They all found it very funny - but Mummy and Daddy and I were not so amused. I did like seeing the fire engine though, so I might do it again just for that. I am a big fan of Curious George. So imagine my excitement when I heard they were doing a special Curious George exhibit at the Discovery Museum near our house! Mummy and Nana came with me and I got to have my picture taken with George! I think I like him so much because he is a cheeky monkey, like me! There are lots of cool things to do at the Discovery Museum. Such as playing the xylophone Climbing on the animal statues And digging in the construction pit... although I couldn’t see what I was digging! Today was the BEST DAY EVER!! Mummy, Nana, Aunty Sian and I went to a Theatre in Oakland to see....The Wiggles!!! I couldn’t believe it, my heroes were right there on stage in front of me! I sang and danced along. I clapped I pointed my fingers and did the twist I did the Hot Potato I said "Oh No!" when Jeff went to sleep And I shouted "Wake Up Jeff!" And every now and then, just to be helpful, I turned around to yell “The Wiggles” to the people sitting behind me just incase they didn’t know who they were watching. When we go on holiday, Lola goes to visit her birth family. Often some of her other sibling are there too. This time there were 6 of her brothers and sisters plus Lola and her Mum! That’s Lola 3rd from the right and that’s her Mum Millie on the far left.
We had some lovely nights out in Hawaii. We would all pile into the golf cart and go down to the waterfront to the hotel’s lovely restaurants. We did look very funny all squashed in! Every night they had a band playing lovely music on the lawn and I loved to dance along. I love doing the Hula dance! And then we ate dinner - and sometimes I even ate something . That is obviously where Mummy is going wrong -I only eat Four Seasons food. One night was particularly special - because it was Jazz’s birthday. We had cake and a pinata to bash. Happy Birthday Jazz! All around Hawaii you an see names of loved ones written in white coral on the black lava. It had always been Mummy’s dream to share her love of The Big Island with Tada. Unfortunately that never happened although we all felt that Tada was with us during the holiday. We missed him but we felt his presence. It only seemed right to add his name to the loved ones - besides the 17th green at the Four Seasons golf course. Then we threw our Leis into the ocean. Legend is that it will ensure that one day we will return to Hawaii - I think it may be right. Aloha Tada. |
