Another month has gone by and I have been very busy learning new things. I can leapfrog my way across the floor - I pull up on my hands and knees and then I fling myself forward and then pull up on my hands and knees again and fling myself forward... It is quite effective and I am not sure why everyone doesn’t move around this way.
I can also talk - MumMum is a very useful word. Mummy seems to get particularly excited when I say it. I also say “AH!” a lot and I can shout it quite loudly. I can hold my bottle up myself and I can feed myself finger food - or at least, I can put it in my mouth so that I can spit it out again. I can also use the spoon myself - which I like to do because it stops Mummy and Daddy using it to put food in my mouth - although I must admit I am starting to like some of it sometimes. Oh, and I can play the piano...with my feet.

I said my first word!
It’s a great word - I can use it for all sorts of things! It can mean “pick me up please” or “I’d like a cuddle” or “no thank you, I’m not tired” or “I’m hungry” or “hello Daddy” or “hello Lola” or “hello person I’ve never met before” or even sometimes it can mean “Mummy”. Brilliant. Back to London again in time to fly back home tomorrow. We went out to dinner with Uncle Mark, Uncle Mick, Aunty Deb, Uncle Dominic and Aunty Elaine. It was fun to see them all. So much fun that I didn’t think it was a good idea to have a nap. So I played with Aunty Deb and Uncle Mick for a bit.. Then I went on a wander with Aunty Elaine... And then when we went back to the house, I taught Uncle Mick how to rock back and forth on his hands and knees! Today we went down to Tenby to see my Mummy’s side of the family too! I had a lovely time - I like it at Common Hay very much. There was a great pink car to play with! And every morning I helped Tada with his crossword On the sunny days we went down to the harbour ..or played on the swing in the garden ..or looked for the fish in Tada’s pond I got lots and lots of cuddles from Nana and Tada and from Aunty Sian and Uncle Teeny and of course from Hannah and Milly. Even though we were in London for a very sad reason, it was nice to see all the family - especially that we were able to be there to celebrate Uncle John and Uncle Mark’s birthdays. Aunty Jenn threw a lovely party and all my Uncles and Aunties and most of my cousins from my Daddy’s side of the family were there. I wasn’t feeling very well, but I still had a lovely time. We all missed Nannie, and she would have loved to have been there, but it was lovely to spend time with everyone and to get lots of cuddles. |
