I went to see a local theater production of Matilda with Nick and Gerry and our mums today. It was great fun. We particularly liked the song "Sometimes you have to be a little bit naughty". I wonder why?

Happy Birthday Dad! We went to Hearts Desire beach in Point Reyes and to our usual favorite restaurant to celebrate. This time it was even more fun because my friends Nick and Gerry and their parents came too!
Leia's war against the mail man continues. This time Dad's birthday card was the victim
Today was not a fun day. My doctor thinks that I may have Celiac disease because I tested positive on a blood test and the only way they can know for sure is by putting a camera down my tummy to have a look around. I was not looking forward to this at all and tried all sorts of tricks to get out of it - like telling the security guard that my Mum wasn't my Mum. But when I got into the hospital surgery waiting room, I saw that there were lots of kids there that were younger than me so I decided to be the brave one and help them ( I could also see that my Mum was on her last thread too so decided I better help her too). The hospital had all kinds of cool things to relax you - including a VR headset that I wore all the way into the operating theater. In fact I don't remember what happened next. All I remember is waking up without the helmet on and Mummy and Daddy telling me that it was all over and I was very brave. So all in all, not as bad as I was expecting.
Today we took Lola and Leia on a nice long walk around Phoenix lake. Jens and his Mom came too. It was a beautiful day and lots of fun - even if I did do a fair amount of complaining about how far it was.
Just like on Oak Island, I am convinced there is treasure on San Quentin beach - we just need to keep digging. I brought my friend Jens and Lola and Leia to help. One of them was useful. One of them just wanted to swim. And one of them just wanted to chase the one that was swimming. I will let you figure out who was who.
Mummy has been named an Honorary Fellow of the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama! She is in Cardiff with Nana to pick it up.
I would have liked to be there to see her in a funny hat again but she had a bunch of work to do too so it was easier for me to stay home with Dad. Congratulations Mummy! Its the 4th of July and time for the annual Larkspur Parade! It is also Mummy and Daddy's wedding anniversary and they are spending it on different continents for the first time since they got married 16 years ago. Mummy is in Cardiff where she is picking up an honorary fellowship tomorrow. (the picture of Cardiff castle at sunset is from her)
Michael, Cathy and Aiden came to watch the parade with us instead. Cathy was really there - even though Daddy seems to have cut her head off in every photo! Lola likes the parade. Leia is not so sure |
