Today is Daddy's birthday! What a great way to spend it - on the beach in the sun with family followed by a lovely meal and a cake from Manuel. Happy Birthday Daddy! I love you!!

My favorite place to be - probably in the whole wide world - is the pool in Villa Vidorra! I lived in it!
We had epic water pistol fights. Great games of dive for the glasses! A boys vs girls water polo match! Ninja training. We played in the raft that Louis and Manual got for me. And we even swam at night when the pool was all lit up. Best of all, my favorite which I like to call "1, 2, 1, 2, 3, 4!" As you can see, we played that game quite a bit. I went higher and higher and was able to twists and ninja kicks! Daf and Ryan gave their pecs a real workout! One of the best things about Mexico is that sea is so warm and full of interesting creatures! Even though I prefer the pool, it was great to use my new swimming skills and snorkeling skills to see all the life that lives in the ocean. I felt like a real Octonaut! I also liked the boat. One day Mummy, Daddy and I paddled our boat all the way to the fish shack restaurant for lunch!
There are some amazing creatures in the ocean. I saw fish and turtles. Some of my family went on a trip and they saw Whale Sharks too! Mummy and Aunty Sian liked to drink their cocktails in the ocean (well, they liked to drink their cocktails pretty much anywhere!). Ryan and Milly liked to wear the ocean on their heads. Although it was sometimes hard to get me out of the pool, I had fun on the beach too. I build great sand castles with my family and I helped to clear away some of the seaweed that appeared on the beach the first day.
One evening at sunset, I was having a paddle with Mummy and Milly and we saw a huge stingray ( called Raymond) jump clear out of the water! We are back in Villa Vidorra again! I love it here!
Its a beautiful villa just north of Tulum in Mexico and it has a brilliant pool and it is right on the beach. There are boats and paddle boards and snorkelling equipment to explore the clear blue Caribbean sea - and I did it all! We are spoilt rotten by Manual the chef, Carlos the assistant chef, Louis the butler, Suzi the housekeeper and Ricardo the groundskeeper. They have become great friends of ours and Mummy wanted them to come home with us. Manuel made incredible meals everyday. He always started the day with a fruit platter with sculpted animals out of the fruit! I was excited every morning to see what the days fruit would be. He also made special meals just for me. I would give him a high five and fist bump every time. Dad's favorite was the barbecue night. Ryan's favorite was the shots! Mummy, Aunty Sian and Nana's was the cocktails! The villa even comes with pets! There was LizardyMojo Brennan, Funny O'Brennan and Shellyshellshellyshellington Brennan. But best of all there was lots of FAMILY to hang out with and have fun with. We played games like charades, Heads Up, name that tune and Kwizniac every night which made me worry for their sanity. We loved our time so much, we have already booked for next year! Mummy's great friends Cate and Mark who she met in University have come to visit with their families. Cate is my Godmother so I think that Makes Sam, Charlie and Milly my GodCousins.
We had great fun together and had some epic light saber battles! Sometimes I like to mix it up when I go to the park. Today I decided to go as a turtle. Turtles like to have fun too.
Mummy had to go to San Diego because there was a Star Wars panel at Comic Con. After the panel, there was a live concert of Star Wars music with scenes from the movie and Fireworks - everyone in the crowd had a lightsaber too! There was a little party backstage and Mummy got the real Luke Skywalker to hold my lightsaber. Daddy said she should have asked him to sign it but Mummy said she doesn't make a habit of carrying sharpies around with her.
Zaneyzoos is growing up so fast! He looks like a cat already!
One of his favorite things to do is Catrobatics. I play with his toys with him and he flings himself about and puts his paws in the air like he just doesn't care. Its amazing how he always lands on his feet! July 4th is Mummy and Daddy's wedding anniversary - it is also America's birthday!
First we went to the town parade and I waived my flag to all the people in the parade. My favorite was the band that played "We will Rock You". So when we went home, and I learned all about Queen so next time I can sing along. Then we went to Skywalker Ranch for the Lucasfilm picnic. That is always great fun because I get to catch up with friends, climb on fire engines and pet some animals. This year I participated in some of the games and I won some ribbons for water balloon tossing! I was quite proud of my ribbons! |
