So that we wouldn't be too sad leaving Disneyland, Mummy and Daddy decided we would go to Mexico on the way home! We stayed in a lovely house and had our own butler called Freddy! Mummy and I wanted to take Freddy home with us. I liked to start my day with a quick jigsaw Then a spot of breakfast - which I tend to like to paint myself with. it is much better than sunscreen. Then we piled in the golf carts and went down to the beach. I liked to shout "Watch out guys!" and "Be Careful!" every time we came near a bump or another cart. There were two beautiful beaches at our resort And some beautiful pools I liked to go paddling And swimming.. And snorkelling.. And paddleboarding.. I even learned to do a bit of surfing in the pool. I have found that it helps to have an audience of adoring adults. After all that activity, I deserved a nice nap. Then I was ready for more! There was even a great park by the beach - but the slide got a little hot! It's always nice to end the afternoon with a nice cold beer at the bar. If I had been allowed to drink it. One special day, we went on a boat trip! We went to a secret beach beyond a cave. And I got to drive the boat! I had no problem jumping off the boat to go snorkelling with everyone. In fact, I jumped off before Mummy was quite ready. She was very glad I had my life vest on. Another day, we went on a trip up to a little surfing town called Sayulita. Daddy and Uncle Teeny, Daf, Emily and Milly rented surf boards. They said it was fun - even though they kept getting shouted at by the pros because they were in their way! But I thought the best thing about the town was the tree full of Iguanas! We also had some lovely evenings out in Mexico One special night was to celebrate Daddy's birthday! And one night, our waiter was a parrot! I loved watching the sunsets while jumping the waves with Milly and Emily. This one caught us by surprise! The best thing about the whole holiday? Being together.

Just when I thought that this holiday couldn't get any better - Mummy and Daddy took me to see The Wiggles! This was the last reunion tour for the original four Wiggles and it was great to see Greg back with the band - even though I liked Sam too. I danced the afternoon away! and I helped by shouting out 'Wake Up Jeff!' when he fell asleep Today the whole family went to Disneyland to celebrate Uncle Teeny's birthday! I am very glad that he decided to spend his birthday at Disneyland because I had a brilliant time and got to meet some of my heroes, like Lightening McQueen! Mater! The whole cast from Toy Story! Chip (or Dale - I can never tell!) Goofy! (or Goopy, as I call him) And even Mickey Mouse! I had a special hug for him. We went on lots of rides The faster the better! But I am glad I didn't go on this one - doesn't look like much fun! It is a very magical place. One of the most fun things to do in Venice Beach is to bike along the beach to Santa Monica. We each had a bike and I had a special seat on front of Daddy's bike. The Emilys were going to have a bike made for two, but they couldn't figure out how to steer it so they decided against it. Mummy and Nana chose bikes that were low to the ground - which seemed like a good idea at the time but they were very hard work! That doesn't stop my Nana though - she rode all the way to Santa Monica and back! Mummy made a lot more fuss than Nana We even saw some of Mummy and Daddy's friends from work! There's a really cool place in LA called Universal Studios. Mummy and Daddy's company did some work on the Transformers ride there so we were given some free VIP passes for the day. Although my favourite part was the fountain in the Mall before we even went in to the park! I got so wet that Mummy had to get me new clothes! Inside was pretty fun too. I particularly liked the Shrek 3D film And the inside ball shooting thingy And the outside water shooting thingy. I got all wet again - and so did Mummy! Thankfully it was a very hot day so she didn't mind too much We also went on the very interesting backlot tour. I didn't like the bit when the shark jumped out at us though. Then we went out to dinner in a restaurant in a very posh hotel - called The Four Seasons in Beverly Hills. We looked very funny piling out of our mini van after a day at the park but we soon smartened up after we changed in the loos! And who should be waiting for us at our table? Daddy!!!! My cousin Milly and her friend Emily are huge fans of the TV program Beverly Hills 90120. As Milly wants to be an actress one day, Mummy thought it would be a good idea for her to see what working on a set was like, so she called one of her friends to arrange it. They got to meet all the cast - and even became Twitter friends ( whatever that means). They got to see all of the sets and even sit with the director. They also got to hold the clapperboard. Today Mummy and Nana and I got in the car and drove to Los Angeles. When we got there, we went to the airport and who do you think we saw? Aunty Sian, Uncle Teeny, Hannah, Daf, Milly and her friend Emily! Fancy seeing them there! We rented some apartments right on the beach at Venice Beach There are a lot of interesting characters on Venice Beach. I think they were fascinating but I think Uncle Teeny felt a bit safer holding my hand We travelled all around LA. Uncle Teeny seemed particularly keen to get into this house called the Playboy Mansion. Maybe it has a giant bouncy castle in it for big kids like him? We even went to the place that they hold the Oscars ceremony. I have a feeling my cousin Milly may be here for a different reason one day. My Nana has come to stay with us! As if that wasn't exciting enough, she also brought me this brilliant swimming pool and slide! You may not know this about me, but I am completely fearless and I had the best time zooming down the slide head first. and climbing back up to do it again! Out for a quick pee pee break add a little sun protection... and back at it again! The only thing better than the pool was that Nana was there to watch me having so much fun Today is a big day. I graduated from the Teddybear room to the Shark room. I am officially a big boy - here I am in my big boy underpants to prove it.
Luckily all my friends moved up with me. I will really miss my Teddybear teachers but I think the Shark Tank will be fun too. |
