Today is my Daddy’s birthday. We had a lovely day together and then he and Mummy went out to celebrate with their friends and ate lots of yucky stuff.

 Mummy and Daddy have been married for 7 years! To celebrate we all went up to Point Reyes for the night. We went to our favourite beach and played in the sand.  Then we took Lola for a walk. I like to hold her lead  - but she toppled me over!  She seemed to think it was quite funny!  It is a very pretty beach and I like to sit and meditate and look at the waves  Then we went and checked in to our room at the Olema Inn. It is fun to explore new places. I liked climbing on to the chair on the patio!  Then we went to dinner . I had lots of fun chatting with the waiters and telling the whole restaurant stories about my day  And practicing my new smile for the camera  And entertaining Mummy and Daddy with my tricks  I got a little bit too loud, so Mummy told me I needed to be quiet  Who, me?  I promised I would be a good boy.  But soon I was all done with that!  Luckily my main course came just in time!  But after such a long day, I was almost too tired to drink it!
What a long, fun day! 
 Every 4th of July weekend my Mummy and Daddy’s boss, George, invites everyone to his house for a picnic. It was lots of fun! There was a swimming pool  And a lake to swim in  And a play tent just for kids  But best of all, there was lots and lots and lots of running around!
 I love my furry sister, Lola.
We are always playing together and anything she does, I want to do to. For example, I would love to drink out of bowl on the floor like she does - but everytime I get near it, Mummy and Daddy take it away. Not fair, Lola gets to! Lola loves food. I am not a big fan of food but I do like to beg at the kitchen gate with her - it gets me in fits of giggles! But my favourite thing to do is play in the garden with Lola and my Daddy. We throw the ball for her and she goes to fetch it. She likes to play tug of war with Daddy but as soon as I try and play it with her, she gives up the toy to me! I don’t think she quite gets it. Mummy says that Lola is very patient with me when I run up and give her hugs or bang her on the head with a toy. I don’t think Lola minds. I think she loves me too. |
