Today is the day we move from Baltimore Ave to Hawthorne Ave. You can walk between the houses in 10 minutes but still it is a HUGE change. We loved Baltimore ave. Its the only house I have ever lived in and it served us so well. So many happy memories there. But we are also looking forward to more room to breathe in Hawthorne and feel very lucky to have found it.

Celebrating Dad in our traditional spot - The Left Bank. We have been coming here most fathers days since I was born and the staff have all seen me grow up.
Jens couldn't come to Disneyland last year when we celebrated Nick and Gerry's graduation so I was very happy we got to do it again this year to celebrate mine! We have been really close buds since Miss Pam's kindergarten class and it is going to be very odd for both of us to be in different schools next year. It is always fun in Disneyland especially as we are lucky enough to have a guide so we don't have to spend most of our time in line. We did so many rides and Cars is still my favorite. Grizzly Water run is definitely NOT Mum's favorite - she got absolutely drenched. It was hilarious!
It's finally here - the day I graduate from MMS! It has been a good 10 years and I have made some really close friends here but I am definitely ready to move on. In my speech I compared my time at Junior High to a song with a first verse starting tentatively, like my first year. The Bridge is like my second year, breaking out down a things a little differently. And the final verse like my my final year is more bold and confident. I still didn't wear my suit jacket
We then went to dinner at Perry's and Nick and Gerry gave me my first Redwood gear! Its going to be fun being in the same school as them again next year We have been looking for a bigger house in Larkspur since I was little. We loved Baltimore Ave but it was a little small for us, especially because we wanted room for family to stay or even to have people over for dinner. We eeked every square inch we could get permission to build and did several remodels because we love the location being able to walk to downtown Larkspur. We knew we wanted a bigger house still in walking distance to downtown and preferably with a view and room to build a pool. That narrows it down to only a couple of streets in Larkspur. Finally, after 8 years, one came up that Mum thought could work but she was in Wales so asked Dad to go and see it. It was a misty day and Dad said there was no view. Mum was disappointed but Dad said she may as well go and see it for herself the next weekend. That day was a sunny day and lo and behold there was a full view of the bay from one side and Mt Tam from the other! We all agreed that we could see ourselves here - especially Annie who now has a much bigger garden to do laps around!
