I can’t believe another month has gone by already. And quite a month it’s been!
Mummy’s had a birthday and Daddy’s had a Father’s Day. I’ve been daycare and I have started eating solid food! Well, Mummy and Daddy have started trying to put solid food in my mouth and I have learned how to spit it out. I have also learned how to keep my mouth firmly shut and to shake my head when they come near me with a spoon. You’d think they’d get the message, but they seem to be very stubborn.

Daddy flew back from London today so that we could spend our first fathers day together. We went to the park and I had a go in a swing. It was great fun!
I’ve got a new highchair. I like it, but don’t think that that means I am going to eat prunes again any time soon..... or any other solids for that matter. I am quite happy with my bottles thank you very much. The chair’s nice though.
Today I went to work with Mummy. They have a special place there just for kids - it is great! Mummy took this picture of me when she dropped me off. I loved playing with all the other little babies there and I loved watching them do things that I can’t do yet - like crawling. That looks like fun! I got lots of cuddles from the teachers and best of all, I got to see my Mummy lots of times during the day. It was so exciting that I decided not to sleep all day in case I missed anything.
I’ve got a new game! Copying Daddy! I’m very good at it! I think I’ll be a RockStar like him one day.
Daddy flew home to London today to visit my Nan who isn’t feeling very well. I am glad that he is going to see Nan so he can give her a big kiss from me but I am going to miss him SO much. Lola misses him too and has stared at the front door since he left. We can’t wait to see him again in a week. We love our Dad.
Daddy brought me into work today so that we could go to a big meeting and hear the announcement that my Mummy is going to be President of ILM! There were lots of people there and they all clapped and cheered - I think they must have been very excited to see me. I know my Mummy was.
For some inexplicable reason, one of the things Mummy decided to do on her birthday was feed me prunes! Yuck!
Today is Mummy’s birthday. She said it was her best birthday ever! We had a lovely day playing at home in the morning and then we went for a hike around the marsh with Lola. Mummy and Daddy then went out to dinner with their friends and Lola and I stayed home and played with Mark.
It was a good day. |
