Everywhere you look in Wales, there's a castle! Carew Castle is a particularly beautiful one - and it was build in 1270, which is a very long time ago! They have very cool things to do there like a crafts room to build your own armour and a treasure hunt! Mummy wanted to bring the stocks home with her as she thought they could come in useful one day ( or most days...) . I quite liked being Sir Tomos, I could get used to it.

We all miss my Tada so much - especially this week. He would have loved to have been at Hannah's wedding so much! She kept a photo of him and her other Grandpa on her boutquet and today we brought her bouquet up to him so that he could see it - but I have a feeling that he was watching the whole day. Love you Tada xxx
There is a beautiful, mysterious island off the coast of Tenby called Caldey. Mum says that only Monks live there in a monastery at the top of the hill. I didn't believe her because I am not sure that Monks are real. But guess what? They are! Today we visited Caldey for the first time. The only way you can get there is by boat, and I have a feeling that our boat may have been a Tardis because when we got to the Island, I am sure we had gone back in time. There are no cars and only very few, very old buildings. There were some nuns on our boat, who were going going to stay with the monks for their holidays. I hope they have as much fun as we do in Mexico! The deserted beach reminded me of Mexico quite a bit so I decided to go for a swim. The sea definitely did not feel like Mexico though!
Most people go away on honeymoon the day after their wedding - but not my Cousin Hannah, she takes me to the beach to jump waves! It was such a lovely wedding and the best time was spending time with my family. The hardest time is saying goodbye to them but I will see them again soon thank goodness
Today was a brilliant day! It was Hannah and Daf's wedding!
I have never been to a wedding before but I have heard that brides look like princesses and Hannah certainly did! She looked beautiful. It was so lovely to see them so happy and to spend the day with all my family. All the kids had a great time hanging out on the golf course during the reception and then I showed off my dance skills on the dance floor. A perfect day. Congratulations Mr and Mrs Wright! The other great thing about being in Tenby in the summer is seeing Nana's beautiful garden in full bloom. No wonder it is Mummy's happy place.
We normally go to Tenby over Christmas when it is cold and often rainy. I love it then - but I REALLY love it in the summer! I had no idea how beautiful it was in the sunshine! We had a lovely day on the beach with Bella and I couldn't resist stripping off and getting in the sea.
Then we went to visit Uncle Teeny in the lifeboat house and got to see the lifeboat launch! It was all going so well until I fell down castle hill and cut my knee! Ouch! Mummy has a few days of work in London before heading down to Wales. It is always fun to explore with Daddy and find new and interesting places - like this really cool church.
We went to the war museum in Chelsea today with the Rowes. I cut my finger. Does that count as a war injury?
We are back in the UK for my cousin Hannah's wedding and the whole country seems to have wedding fever! Hannah and Daf must be very popular. Even Mummy's friend Cate and her friends were having a street party.
Today is also Nana's birthday so it was lovely to be able to be with her on her birthday. It was also lovely to see my cousins Sam and Benj, Uncle Ga, Aunty Kate and Aunty Sian. I had a great time playing with Benj and he showed me the robot he built that follows his instructions! It was much better trained than Leia already! Oh, and some people called Harry and Megan were also getting married today. |
