 I am learning to juggle in zoom school. Leia thinks I am doing it wrong and is showing me how I can hold all three balls at once without dropping them.
Yesterday we were on the beach in shorts and tshirts and today it is snowing and we are skiing! Lola was very happy - she LOVES the snow. Zane, not so much - especially as Mum is trying to persuade him to go for a walk with a harness and lead and he is not having any of it. I don’t blame him!
Another day, another hike. Mum really is relentless.
This time it was on part of the California Emigrant trail - lets hope the same thing doesn’t happen to us that happened to them. This time of year it is tricky to know what to wear - but I am pretty sure that flip flops isn’t the right choice! It was still quite snowy and icy in places and Dad found out that hiking through snow in flip flops is not ideal. Even though it was quite a long and high hike, Lola did brilliantly! We went on a great hike around Donner Lake today. Lola loved it because she got to have a swim in the lake. Leia loved it because she got to roll around in the sand. I loved it because Dad taught me how to skip stones. Mum loved it because she got to be outside in the sunshine and no one was complaining!
We also wished my Tada a very happy heavenly birthday. Feels like we are closer to him in heaven when we are in the mountains, so I hope he heard us. What a difference a day makes! Yesterday we were skiing and today we are soaking up the sun on the beach in Lola’s happy place - Sandharbor Beach. I even went in the lake - wearing a wetsuit ( I am crazy but not that crazy!).
Today was brilliant fun! We got to go ski mobiling ( not sure that is a word). I even got to drive! They were very noisy and smelly but I like anything that goes fast!
The best thing about our Tahoe house is that we get to enjoy it with friends. The Dicomos have joined us up the mountain and we had great fun skiing today. But I have to admit that the most fun is just hanging out together at the house - it has been too long since we have been able to do that.
