My teeth haven't grown very straight so I need to get braces. Today was my first fitting. I am kind of excited about it as my good friends Nick and Gerry have braces so they must be cool

 Zaney really doesn't like it when we go away so he is determined now that whenever he sees a suitcase he tries to hide in it.
It is ski week - so we have come to Hawaii! We have been lucky enough to visit Hawaii a few times but this is our first visit to Oahu. And we get to explore the island with our good friends the DiComos!
Everybody assumed that we would be staying at the big Disney resort that Mummy gets a big discount on - but oh no, we stayed next door because Daddy wasn't keen on a whole week of Mickey Mouse - even if he was wearing a Hawaiian shirt. We had so much fun. There is so much to do on the island. We drove around the whole island and saw beautiful sights. We climbed a dormant volcano. We visited a Buddhist temple in the hills. We snorkeled some lovey reefs. We swam in the fun pool. We went to a luau and learned how to throw spears. We visited Waikiki. We did a ATV tour of the valley where they shot Jurassic Park. We went to Pearl Harbor and explored the Mighty Mo - which is where the Japanese and the allies signed the peace accord after world war 2. I was fascinated by the huge warship and didn't want to leave. It was incredible how the crew had to live in such cramped quarters. I cannot imagine how brave they must have been and I felt very sad for all the sailors who died when their ships were sunk in the harbor. It was a lovely week - especially to spend it with great friends. Aloha I am really fascinated about Walt Disney. I have watched the documentary about him over and over, I have read books about him and done a study at school about him. One day I think I may want to be an animator like him. There is a really cool museum near Mummys work called the Walt Disney Family museum - it is all about his life and has really cool exhibits about his early films and his plans for Disneyland. I have been there before but today was especially cool because I got to go there with my friends Nick, Gerry and Jens.
