Today was pajama day in school. I chose to wear my superhero pajamas that Aunty Kim and Uncle Seamus gave me. As you can see, I was very pleased with my choice!

It is Oscar time again!
This time, the film that Mummy and Daddy worked on won! Rango was the first time the company they work for had done an animated film, and they won! I am very proud of everybody who worked on it. I am not allowed to watch it yet because it is for older kids but the bits I have seen, look brilliant and I can’t wait to see it all when I am a little bit bigger. The other film they worked on - Transformers : Dark of the Moon, didn’t win but it was pretty amazing work and great to be nominated anyway. And they did do a little bit of work on the film that won the Visual Effects award - Hugo, so that’s good. These are my friends in the Teddybear class - or Teacher Vince’s house, as I like to call it. That’s me in the front row, holding hands with my girlfriend Norah. My other two girlfriends are in the back row - Charlie and Bubbles. I love all the friends in my class - but they are the ones I hold hands with the most.
There’s my lovely teachers too - Juanita ( Nini), Laura, Karen, Regina ( Nina) and my hero, teacher Vince. When Mummy says I am a rascal, I usually say “Not Rascal, Good Boy”. Today, I think she may be right though because I was a little bit naughty.
Today is President’s Day so Mummy and I had the day off, but Daddy had to go to work. Mummy needed to do some washing so she went out the back door to go to the washing machine. Before she went she turned the little knob on the door handle so the door wouldn’t lock behind her if I shut it ( as if, I would do such a thing). She thought I wouldn’t be able to reach up to the key that was in the deadlock. She was wrong. I managed to climb on the TV cabinet to get up to the key and turn it and lock her out! Imagine her surprise and my glee when she couldn’t get back in! I waited by the glass back door with my arms crossed and a big smile on my face! Mummy tried the door and the handle turned, but the door wouldn’t open. I bent over laughing and pointed up to the key and said “Key”! You should have seen the look on her face! Lola wasn’t happy either because she was stuck outside too! Mummy asked me to turn the key again to let her in - which I would have done eventually, but I thought I would take advantage of the situation for a little bit and have some Ipad play time. So I pushed a stool up to the kitchen counter - all while Mummy watched from the kitchen window - and got the Ipad. I then went to sit back by the door so that Mummy could see that I was perfectly safe and happy playing with my Ipad - I didn’t want her to worry. Unfortunately, Mummy had her phone with her so she called our friend and neighbour Mark who raced round from his house a few blocks away to let Mummy and Lola in. As soon as she came in, Mummy didn’t need to say anything, I knew I had to go to the naughty step so I went straight there and waited my time out. Mummy had to go into the other room to have a giggle - she doesn’t think I know that, but I do. I don’t like the Naughty Step because I do try to be a good boy. But I’ll tell you a secret - this time, it was totally worth it! Today is Valentines Day - or “Tine Day” as I call it.
I had lots and lots of cards and presents from all my friends in daycare. I didn’t give any because my Mummy didn’t realize that it is the done thing - we’ll know for next year. So I just gave my friends lots of hugs instead and wished them Happy Tine Day. I did find time to make this little card for Mummy though. Lots of love to you all! xxxx You may not know this about me, but I LOVE the Wiggles. I love it even more when I can have my Wiggles mat, my Wiggles keyboard and my Wiggles guitar all playing at the same time.
Daddy doesn’t seem to like it as much - which is odd, because he seems to like playing his music really loud too, and his stuff isn’t nearly as good as the Wiggles. |
