 Wherever I am and whatever I am doing, my furry bro is never far from my side. Even when where I am is on top of the kitchen counter half dressed, listening to music. Mum is particularly thrilled that either of us is up there.

Mum dragged us on yet another hike today, this time to Samuel P Taylor State park near Point Reyes. I have to admit that it was very pretty and I quite enjoyed it. Lola and Leia loved it - loads of new smells for them to sniff.
During this pandemic, the only way we can see friends is by going for walks - so we go on lots of walks. Lola and Leia think it is fantastic - especially when we go somewhere they can have a paddle. Today we went to Crissy Fields to see Mum and Dad’s friend Chris. We met outside mum’s work and it was very weird for her being back but not being back.
Today is a historic day. I got to witness the inauguration of President Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris - the first female Vice President ( about time!). The best part was a poem call the Hill we Climb by Amanda Gorman.
We are back in Marin - which is very different than Tahoe but equally pretty. Today we went on a bike ride around Hamilton Fields with Aiden and Michael
Another day another hike ( Mum really is relentless). This time up to Picnic Rock which had some lovely views of Lake Tahoe. Dad was a little worried it was going to be too much for Lola but she loved it and trotted up the hill. She was not the one who kept needing to sit down for a rest…
Another day, another icy walk - this time along Truckee River. There is quite a steep hill down to the path and Mum was afraid she was going to fall over on her dodgy leg - so she decided to just get on the ground anyway and slide down on her bum. So embarrassing! Leia was very confused. There was a bit of snow around so I built a snow man. The igloo was already built. Oh, and while we were doing this, a mob of Trump supporters stormed the capital because they were angry that he didn’t win the election. I hope someone puts them on serious restrictions for their bad behavior.
There isn’t much snow in Tahoe at the moment so we went on a very icy walk around Martin’s Meadow. It was very pretty and very very long. Lola had no problem with it - she definitely did less complaining than me.
Our first trip toTtahoe in 2021. Lola is very happy. Zane not so much. Leia is just happy that Lola is happy and wants to play with her
