I had fun at my first double gig today. First band I played the bass for the first time at a gig - I especially liked Another Brick in the Wall as it is so bass heavy. And in my guitar band I had a couple of solos which went well so I threw in a jump.

It is always mixed feelings to leave our UK families and head back home to California, but I have to admit this is not a bad place to come back to - and the welcoming committee is very cute.
We had a lovely time in Tenby with Mum’s family and now it is time for the Brennans in London. We were really looking forward to it but unfortunately Mum an dI got really sick with a high fever so we had to stay in the hotel.
Our unique, gorgeous and slightly crazy Gracie is TWO! We were so happy that we were there to celebrate with her!
2024 was a hard year losing both Nana and MB. We did also welcome Annie and Isabelle so we also have a lot to be grateful for and to look forward to in 2025. We went out for an early meal in Saundersfoot the played games til midnight. Noah and Isabelle got to stay up too!
My Godmum, Cate and Mark came to visit for a few days. Tenby is beautiful especially on crisp winter days so we had lots of walks on the beach together. It was lovely to see them
We are staying in Croft House, literally over the road from the Boxing Day swim - and Mum STILL didn't make it out of bed in time to watch the Boxing Day swim! She made it to see them coming out at least. me and Dad and Aunty Sian went to watch thousands of people run into the sea. Then we went bowling in Milford which was great fun. But the best fun was jamming with Luke.
This was always going to be a hard Christmas without Nana but at least we were together and we had the littler ones to cheer us up. We started the day with a delivery under the tree from Santa in our apartment in the Croft. Then we went to visit Nana and Tada - at least they are together too. Then off to Hannah and Luke's where Luke made an amazing Christmas dinner. And then more presents! We gave Elsie and enormous Princess Barbie Castile. She loved it - Hannah not so much!
I love this time of year when we head back to the UK for the holidays. Now that I am in High School I couldn't leave before the end of the term so we are leaving later than usual so, instead of a few days in London, we headed West straight away and stopped in Bath for the night - which gave us the chance to have dinner with Dad's brother Geoff and Edwina. I really liked Bath - especially the pool fed by the ancient natural hotsprings.
We're off to the UK tomorrow for Christmas so time to celebrate the season with our Californian found family - the Taylors. It was a lovely evening at the Left Bank - which is just a couple of blocks down the hill from our new house - even closer than we used to be!
